CNC Culinary
Support

Overview

Need some dietary direction and culinary coaching? Want to quantify the quality of your diet? Need some help in the kitchen, getting the right food on the table? You’ve come to the right place!

The CNC Culinary Support Program was designed to help cancer survivors review their current diet, tweak it as necessary, then develop new kitchen skills to support change. You’ll work with both an oncology dietitian and a professional chef in this 3-phase program that will help you figure out what to eat, and how to make it!

The Process

In Phase 1 you’ll start by answering a short list of questions, designed so we can better understand your goals and any food-related issues, food preferences etc. You will also keep a food diary for 3 days and take the CNC Quality of Diet Screening. All of this information will be reviewed by a CNC board certified oncology dietitian in preparation for your consultation call, or secure zoom video session.

In Phase 2 you will consult with your oncology dietitian. Together you will review your goals, intake questions, diet screening results, and food diary. After discussing your food preferences and culinary challenges, your dietitian will recommend 3 to 5 dietary priorities and 2 to 3 culinary solutions for you to focus on.

Phase 3 is all about the food! In this phase you will work with Chef Patty who will review your dietary priorities and culinary solutions to focus on. She will do some culinary research and planning in preparation for your call, or zoom video session. Included in this phase is a minimum of 30 minutes of 1-on-1 culinary education and coaching to empower you in the kitchen so you can achieve your dietary goals.
